Spreadsheet or CRM: when is it time to switch?
In short
When more than one person works with the same customers, or call-backs and quotes start to slip. In a CRM everyone sees the same thing, and tasks are tied to the customer with a deadline and an owner.

Signs you have outgrown the spreadsheet
- Several versions of the same spreadsheet are going round.
- You do not know who last spoke to a customer.
- Quotes and invoices live somewhere other than the customers.
- While a colleague is on leave, their customers are out of reach.
