Recurring invoice
A recurring invoice is a template plus a schedule: the system issues the same invoice by itself at set intervals, monthly for example.

What does Recurring invoice mean?
It saves work for subscriptions, monthly services and rents: nobody has to write the invoice by hand every month.
What matters is that only one invoice goes out per period, even if the system runs more than once.
Why does it matter to a small business?
With monthly work, invoicing is the dullest task and the easiest to forget: a missed month is lost revenue, and an invoice sent twice is an awkward exchange with the customer. When the system issues the invoice by itself, always on the same day, and allows only one per period, the owner only has to watch the exceptions, not every month.
What does it look like in practice?
Details
Suppose an IT support firm in Pécs looks after twelve offices for the same monthly fee each. For each customer it sets up a recurring invoice once, with the fee and the start date, and from then on the invoices make themselves. When one customer's fee goes up, it only edits the template: the months already issued are not issued again.
How does HelloCRM handle it?
Details
In HelloCRM a recurring invoice's dates always follow the start date (an invoice on the 31st goes out on 28 February and on 31 March again), and the database allows only one invoice per period, even if the system runs more than once. Editing the template does not reset the schedule, so months already issued are not repeated.
Module: Invoicing (paid module, price coming soon).
