Delivery note (szállítólevél)
A delivery note records which goods the company handed over, when and to whom; it is not an invoice.

What does Delivery note mean?
Signed by the buyer, the delivery note is proof of receipt. It is common to raise one invoice at the end of the month for several deliveries, based on the delivery notes.
As a delivery note is not an invoice, it carries no VAT due. Whether one is needed for a transaction, and what it must contain, is up to the company's own procedures and its accountant.
Why does it matter to a small business?
When goods go out before the invoice, the delivery note proves what the buyer took and who received it. In a dispute it decides, and the month-end invoice is built from it. When the delivery note also takes the goods out of stock, the warehouse shows what is really there, not what the invoices suggest.
What does it look like in practice?
Details
Suppose a building-supplies merchant in Kecskemét delivers tiles and adhesive to a tiler six times during a month. Each delivery gets a delivery note, which the tiler signs. At the end of the month the six notes become one invoice, and since every line was on a signed sheet, nobody argues about what arrived.
How does HelloCRM handle it?
Details
In HelloCRM a draft delivery note has no number and moves no stock. Issuing it gives it a number and takes the goods out of the named warehouse once; if the shelf does not hold enough, it is not issued and stays a draft. Once issued it cannot be changed, cancelling it puts the stock back on the same warehouse once, and several delivery notes for one buyer can become one invoice.
Module: Invoicing (paid module, price coming soon).
