- The same application as a container (Docker), with a PostgreSQL database, and a background worker that does the scheduled work (mail, automations, reminders).
- For PDF documents (quotes, invoices) the container carries a browser and fonts with Hungarian accents.
- The database has to be created with Hungarian collation, so names sort in Hungarian alphabetical order; this cannot be changed afterwards.
- The Self-hosted plan has no limit on users, contacts, emails or storage.
Where does the cloud version run?

If you do not choose your own server, HelloCRM runs in Hetzner's data centre in Falkenstein, Germany, inside the European Union; uploaded files are kept there too. If your data has to stay in the EU, you do not need your own server for that.
