Marketing automation
Marketing automation performs repetitive steps by rules set in advance, without anyone stepping in, such as sending emails or creating a task after an event.

What does Marketing automation mean?
An automation starts with an event (a new subscriber, a deal won, a form filled in) and continues with steps: wait, email, condition, tag, task.
Automation works best for what a person would do the same way but forget. It does not replace the personal part of selling.
An automation always does the same thing, so try it first and start small: a thank-you email, a reminder task. Too many overlapping rules are hard to follow and can send an email nobody meant to send.
Why does it matter to a small business?
In a small business one person writes quotes, makes calls and invoices, so the small repetitive jobs slip first: the thank-you email, the call-back, the reminder. An automation does them every time, leaving time for personal conversations, and the customer gets an answer even when everyone is busy.
What does it look like in practice?
Details
Suppose an accounting office in Miskolc takes on new clients. When a deal is won, the automation tags the contact as a customer, sends a welcome email listing the documents needed and gives the office manager a task, due in two days, to arrange the first meeting. Nobody has to remember it.
How does HelloCRM handle it?
Details
HelloCRM's Automations module starts on an event (a new contact, a tag, a form filled in, a deal changing stage) or on a schedule, with branches, waits, repeats and formulas. A dry run shows what it would do, and it starts from ready-made recipes in one click.
Module: Automations (paid module, price coming soon).
